Chocolate Pecan Pie

I just found these pictures on my computer and cannot believe I never posted this recipe! This is probably the best dessert I’ve ever made, and it couldn’t be easier! Picture a pecan pie combined with a chocolate chip cookie. Amazing.

Chocolate Pecan Pie
Just the Tip / Inspired by My Life as a Mrs.

Here’s what I used:

  • 1 uncooked pie shell
  • 1 cup raw turbinado sugar
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 stick butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Here’s what I did:

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray a pie plate with non-stick spray and line with the pie crust.
  2. Mix the flour and sugar together in a large bowl using a hand mixer. Slowly mix in the eggs, melted (and cooled) butter, and vanilla extract. Gently fold in the nuts and chocolate chips until combined well.
  3. Spread evenly into the pie crust. Bake for 35-40 minutes until slightly golden. Allow to cool, and enjoy!
